This past weekend was a weekend full of studying and hanging out with friends. On  Friday, me and my friends went to a social gathering in Plainfield. When we got there, we found out  that the gathering is actually in a mansion. There was an outdoor, in ground pool, a basketball court,  and even a lake behind their home. We ended going on a boat ride and having the best time ever.  Saturday was a day devoted to studying. From the morning to the night time, me and my friends sat  in a study room and did all the work we were supposed to finish. Taking only food breaks all day, it's  safe to say that we got all our homework done. On Sunday, my parents came to visit me along with  my sister. We ended up going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. If you have never been there, I strongly  recommend it.

Family Weekend

This weekend was one of the chillest weekends since the move in. I went to go visit my family back in Chicago. It was my grandma's birthday so I decided to come down and surprise her. She was very surprised to say the least. I didn't see my parents for a month so it was nice seeing them again. How was your weekend?

Roomates

Two weeks ago, I moved into Dorothy Day with 5 of my friends. Since the day we moved in, it has been nothing but fun and games. All 5 of us really click together. I don't think you can find better people to room with than the people who really get you. We are constantly there for each other and we know that if one of us is hurt, we all try to help as much as we can. I hope that you guys can one day find these kind of roommates. Good Luck!

Summer Adventure

Over the summer, I got the opportunity to visit my motherland. The reason why I went was because my family and I were invited to my mom's brother's wedding that was going to take place in August. It was a very special opportunity that we couldn't pass up. When we arrived, I got to reconnect with some of my closest cousins and family members. I was the nicest time I had in a while. Poland is my favorite spot to vacation in because, in my opinion, it's always a blast from the past. I was born in Poland and lived there until I was 8 until my parents decided to start a new life in Chicago. While in Poland, I got to attend a lot of concerts and carnivals with my favorite cousins. We shared lots of laughs and made many new memories that I will never forget. When the wedding day approached us, I was more excited than ever. I knew my closest family is going to attend the wedding and that's what made the thought of it so great. I ended up catching the veil and having the t...
